DAV Girls College Kosli was started in July 1993 as a mark of tribute to Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, a great sage and seer who played a vital role in promoting the education of women and assuring them equal status with men in society.
Inspired by his ideals, the late Sh. Rao Ram Narain undertook this project under the banner of Garmin Kshetriya Education Society, Kosli, acquiring 17 acres of land and a magnificent building. D.A.V. CMC was then invited to run the institution — and remains grateful for the society's continuing support.
Kosli sits on the Mohindergarh–Rohtak Road, 30 km from Jhajjar and 35 km from Rewari, with easy connectivity. The campus holds spacious buildings, sprawling lawns, play grounds, a computerised library, staff rooms, lecture rooms and a computer laboratory — equipped for academics, sport and every co‑curricular pursuit through the year.
